To Sam Griffin

GlaxoSmithKline Litigation Lawyer

It has now been a year since we met with you to discuss my daughter’s horrendous experience while on Paxil, and withdrawing from paxil.  During our discussion, you acknowledged my Childs suffering.   You apologized to my daughter, stating her experience from paxil was not intentional on the part of GlaxoSmithKline.  Yet that is the very reason we were at that meeting Sam.  If GlaxoSmithKline had not intentionally withheld clinical data my daughter would not have suffered as she had.  You lied to her Sam.  We discussed educational loss, financial figures.  What about her pain and suffering for the years on paxil, and then the horrific experience of withdrawal?  The discussion that took place left Skye with the impression that GlaxoSmithKline was indeed accepting accountability.  Why else would one have a child rehash such a horrific experience?

To have my daughter attend this meeting, open old wounds, and then not take accountability because we are on Canadian soil is nothing short of cruel.  GlaxoSmithKline paid damages to children in the USA.  Do children in Canada feel pain differently Sam?  Pain and suffering from paxil has no borders.  Once again, GlaxoSmithKline’s true colors are shining through.

I realize it is your job to represent GlaxoSmithKline to the best of your ability.  Great job! How do you live with yourself at the end of the day?
